12 Mashup Examples Using Our Phone API

You can build a lot of neat phone mashups with Ifbyphone's phone mashup API.
Here are some mashups our team has built:

Twitter
Use Twitter as a screen-pop tool to see who is calling via a direct message on Twitter before you answer the call.

Facebook
Add a click-to-call widget to your facebook profile.

Salesforce
Using the Ifbyphone Call Distributor, incoming calls are a looked up in your salesforce.com account so you can see information about the caller on the Call Distributor agent dashboard before answering the phone call.

Google Analytics
This mashup enables you to track phone calls alongside web data in Google Analytics.

Google Maps
This mashup displays data on Google Maps based on data collected from a phone call.

WhitePages.com
This mashup does a reverse lookup using the Whitepages.com API to retrieve demographic information about a caller using their caller ID.

Drupal
We developed Dynamic Phone Numbers & Click-to-Call modules for the Drupal Content Management System.

Joomla
We developed a click-to-call module for the Joomla Content Management System.

DotNetNuke
We developed a click-to-call module for DotNetNuke.

Freshbooks
Freelancers can set up a time-in attendant or hours tracking system so that they can track hours they worked over the phone in case they aren't in front of the computer.

Yelp.com
Call the Yelp.com mashup number, enter your zip code and get reviews for nearby restaurants, bars, etc. over the phone.

Growl
Last but not least, we're working on publishing a mashup for Growl so that you'll get a notification about phone calls just like you would with emails, instant messages, etc. using Growl.
