Yesterday a customer landed on our website after asking Google, “can you record calls with ifbyphone?” so I figured I’d answer the question on our blog. Yes, you can record calls with Ifbyphone. Here are 4 ways to make it happen:
1. If you route calls via a Find Me, you can select the “Record Calls” check box.
2. If you route calls via Call Distributor, you can select the “Record Callls” check box.
3. If you route calls via our SurVo IVR, under the “Monitored Call” question type select the ”Record The Call” check box.
4. If you are using Ifbyphone for Call Tracking and forward calls to your main phone line, under the “Phone Routing” menu select “Transfer Call w/Whisper Message” and set the “Record Call” drop-down menu to “Yes”.
Recordings are available within the Call Detail Report v3.0, under the “Audio File Maintenance” menu, or via API. Please note, we do charge an additional fee for recording phone calls. If you have any additional questions about Call Recording, please don’t hesitate to give us a ring.
