Groupon is a startup based in our own backyard so when they recently released their API we figured we’d give it a try. The mashup is pretty simple. You can call (312) 469-0907 and you’ll hear Groupon Chicago’s deal of the day.

- Ability to call, select any city Groupon currently services, and hear the deal of the day
- Ability to hear if the deal has “tipped” yet
From Groupon
- In addition to RSS, email, or Twitter, get a call when a deal goes live
- Ability to give Groupon your payment info online so that when you get the call you can order the Deal of the Day over the phone by pressing 1. Maybe an additional discount would be available to people who subscribe to the daily phone call.
