Ifbyphone Core Value – Do The Right Thing

At Ifbyphone one of our core values is to always do the right thing. This isn’t just a saying that’s written on a corporate memo, noted and then forgotten. It is has always been a part of how we service our customers, how we talk to people interested in our services, and every blog post and blog comment. It is reflected in our commitment to quality over false promises, as exhibited by our 100% on-time guarantee for Voice Broadcasting delivery.

In the past, we had one of the most flexible pricing programs in the industry. You had no commitment, no contracts, no set up fees, and no paying for minutes you weren’t using. All you had to do was change a usage plan.

With our new release of Version 3.0, we are extremely excited to announce our Automatic Best Rate Pricing. You don’t need to worry about adjusting your usage plan, as we’ll always charge you the lowest per-minute rate. How does it work? Let’s say you start out with us, and while you are getting going, you use less than 100 minutes. The first 100 minutes each month are included, so you don’t pay any per-minute fee. The next month, your product gets featured on Oprah (it’s happened to our customers before!), and you use 15,000 minutes. That’s great for you, because it means more business and a lower per minute rate. Without needing taking any action, we will automatically lower your per minute rate to $.049. Ah, but the next month, you are no longer on national television, and you only use 400 minutes. Surely there must be some minimum you ask? No. We’ll bill you at $.079, but only for the minutes you actually use.

We believe that providing flexible billing makes us unique in the industry. We want to partner with our customers to help them get more use out of their phones. We want to help them improve their bottom line.

And the Automatic Best Rate Pricing is just another way of doing the right thing.

  1. Thank you for your posts on this site. I find it quite refreshing to read about your services and your approach. For products such as VoIP I think it is important to always be thinking how to refine what one offers and how best to package products – and the way you have set up your automatic pricing system is a great example of this.
