Click to Call for Blogs
There are plenty of standard ways to use Click-to-Call on your business website that will get you incoming phone calls from prospective customers. You can strategically place click-to-call buttons on your website anywhere that you think visitors are likely to be at that critical decision making point when talking to a sales representative can make or break the sale. There are other opportunities that you may be missing, however, that can be just as crucial that you may not have thought about. Not all sales result on actual sales pages – sometimes they are the by-product of an interesting blog article.
Don’t Ignore Click-to-Call When Blogging
If you have a company blog, chances are that you put a lot of time and energy into writing interesting, timely pieces about what’s going on in your industry as well as what’s going on at your company. Regular customers and occasional visitors read your blog to keep up to date on industry events and the latest technology. Your blog posts are an ideal way to generate new contacts by including a click-to-call button on your blog page. Let your loyal blog readers know that you’d love to hear from them personally and give them the option to call you rather than emailing. Getting a dialogue going with someone who’s impressed by what you’ve written can generate a sale much more quickly than an email can.
Offer Click-to-Call Blog Specials
You can increase traffic on your blog and increase your click to call traffic if you begin regularly offering special discounts or unusual deals to blog visitors who use the click-to-call feature. At the end of a blog entry about your newest software offering, you might say, “for 10% off your purchase of our new Zebra Software package, click here and mention the special Blog Discount.”
Remember, on your blog, you’re the expert – making yourself available through click-to-call will make you the expert that customers turn to!
