Earn $1,000 by Building an iPhone-to-Ifbyphone Mashup

To stimulate the development of innovative Ifbyphone to iPhone mashups we are pleased to announce the
iPhone Stimulus Program.

Ifbyphone is soliciting applications from developers for consideration now through April 30, 2009. iPhone application developers will receive $1,000 if their Ifbyphone iPhone application is selected and released by Ifbyphone into the iTunes App Store. Applications must be working prototypes that deliver innovative calling features to consumers and/or integrate telephony into other web services and applications. The Ifbyphone team will select the best, most innovative candidates from submitted designs, fine tune the application, test it and then release the application into the iTunes App Store – ideally at no charge to consumers, as the previous Ifbyphone iPhone Applications were.

How To Submit Your iPhone to Ifbyphone Mashup

To submit your iPhone to Ifbyphone Mashup, send the following zipped up files to marketing@ifbyphone.com by April 30, 2009:

iDev and Ecomm 2009 Tutorial

Recently at both iDev and Ecomm 2009, Irv Shapiro presented a tutorial on creating an iPhone to Ifbyphone mashup by using a three tier SOA oriented architecture. Using this architecture developers are able to build powerful telephony oriented applications in just hours or days.

The Fine Print
All applications will be selected solely at the discretion of Ifbyphone management. Ifbyphone will select no more than 5 applications. Receipt of the $1,000 payments constitutes work for hire, and all ownership rights for the iPhone application transfer to Ifbyphone. Ifbyphone employees and family members may not participate. All submissions must include complete and fully commented source code.
