Voice-Based Marketing Automation

Connect, Measure, and Optimize Sales and Service Calls

INFOGRAPHIC: Close more leads by improving lead response time

What do a belated birthday greeting and mistimed punch line have in common? They’re just not as effective when they’re late. The same is true for responding to inbound marketing leads.

In fact, research shows that leads convert 22 times more often when you make contact within the first five minutes.

While traditional marketing automation platforms help you capture, nurture and score leads, at some point in the process you may actually want to get on the phone and speak with a prospect to close a deal.

To help you connect with leads while they are still on your website, today we’re introducing our first voice-based marketing automation integration with HubSpot.

Here’s how the Ifbyphone LeadResponder For HubSpot works:

First, you identify which web forms you want to trigger a phone call. Within the app, you simply select which reps should receive a call, choose when they should receive a call, and make sure you request the lead’s phone number in the form. By turning web form submission into immediate phone calls, you improve you chances of turning web form leads into customers.

  1. In response to Tunde, the data comes from InsideSales.com. (It’s at the bottom in the notes.) InsideSales.com did the research with Harvard. I actually ran into this research a couple years back. It’s great to see that it’s becoming more well known.

I just did a quick google for it and you can find the original study here. http://www.insidesales.com/research_papers.php

  2. Interesting infographic. You say that this significant upturn in results is based on research. Can you tell me the source of the data. My client does not believe anything without a reference.

  5. Thanks for the comment, Nancy! This particular infographic was created by a human. We worked with one of our agency partners (Moveo Integrated Branding, http://www.moveo.com) and their graphic design team to build and publish the infographic. Although I definitely see the benefits of using more automated tools to build infographics. We will look into the ones you suggest for future projects.

  6. Nice Infographic — I just wrote a blog post about using infographics to describe how people can access our role-play simulator for our scripts that teach kids with Autism how to practice social conversations — (with If By Phone’s IVR running in the background). I”m curious as to which tool you used to create this. A couple I found were easil.ly visual.ly and piktochart.
